Alternative Resolutions to Complicated Divorce Matters

Serving Couples in the Round Rock, Texas Area

Finding resolutions to complicated divorce proceedings can take a toll on your life, both financially and emotionally. Fortunately, for couples who are willing to work together to find amicable resolutions, divorce mediation and collaboration can help to avoid the expense and amount of time spent on the dissolution of your marriage.

For more than 25 years, I, Attorney Betsy Lambeth, have provided compassionate and knowledgeable guidance through divorce mediation proceedings. My work is designed to help you and your spouse come to peaceful resolutions regarding important divorce matters, including issues related to your children, your finances and your futures apart.

To discuss your divorce, and to learn if divorce mediation or a collaborative law divorce is right for you, Contact my office online or call 512-255-7191.

Helping You Reach Agreements Without Excessive Court Intervention

The goal of a collaborative law divorce is to assist couples and families in a more effective, "family-friendly" manner. With that goal in mind, I work to offer the guidance you need to come to amicable terms on the various issues related to your divorce. Through mediation, you can avoid court intervention, and take control of your own divorce and the resulting resolutions.

The process includes three to four meetings between you, your spouse and your lawyers. During these meetings, the various issues relating to your divorce will be addressed in great detail, including:

  • Final decree of divorce
  • Child custody
  • Support & visitation
  • Spousal maintenance
  • Asset & debt distribution

During the mediation proceedings, the court is not involved until the very end, and only serves in the capacity of signing off on the final divorce agreement.

Comprehensive Support for Your Needs

In an effort to provide you with the information you need, the mediation or collaborative law divorce process may include hiring a financial advisor to offer advice on financial aspects and a mental health advisor to provide support for emotional needs. The goal of both professionals is to help you and your spouse understand each other and work together to reach an agreement.
